Canza Finance Research MOU x Alabama A&M University

Canza finance is an open finance portal enabling access to financial services through the use of Web 3.0 assets (Cryptocurrencies), networks (Blockchains), and services(DEX, DAPPS, DeFi).

Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University (AAMU) is a historic, student-friendly, and community-focused institution of higher learning. AAMU functions as a teaching, research, and public service institution, including extension. Deji Oluwoye, co-founder and CTO of Canza finance is an alumnus of Alabama A&M University.

We leveraged this relationship to complete an MOU with AAMU to conduct blockchain research. This is an expression of a common vision to explore areas of blockchain application to existing infrastructure and equip students with the knowledge and skill to solve present-day problems with trustless technology.

We have identified research and education as an essential motor to drive the adoption and sustained growth of blockchain technology, hence our continued efforts with educational events and hackathons with numerous Nigerian universities in collaboration with Celo.org and recently this memorandum with Alabama A and M University.
